Meditation for Serenity 2021-2024! (tips, tricks & discussion/ 3 years running woot!)

15 minutes formal meditation ~ gearing up and preparing for the jump to 30 min at end of month
Watched the chest rise and fall today and tried to avoid jumping around to different objects of awareness and just use the one method for the session. Glad to let go of my thoughts for a while! :pray::raised_hands::grin:

Did a 15 min guided mediation off of my Balance App. It was on relaxing and focus breathing and saying “In : Calm” and “Out : Smile”. Not sure why they suggested smile for the out breath but it made me smile every time lol mind was wondering alot today and I kept having sensations that I was noticed on my body, like a spot that was itchy hair in my face etc. Kind of annoying. I did feel my heart beat during it and that’s truly an amazing experience for me. I just feel so alive when I sense my heart beat :heartbeat:

Off to start on my 10 000 this early morn and tune into my leg joints as I power walk as Eric calls it.

Day 5 and jumped ahead in the month
30 minutes stillness in the Burmese position on the ‘zafu’
And hey, no anger today. Wanted to Self soothe with compassionate recovery phrases in my thoughts toward the end but returned to the breathe instead. I DID IT! :man_dancing:🧘‍♂

I am working on strengthening my electromagnetic field. It’s powerful stuff.

Day 6 done
Did 5 minutes and my daughter joined me. Getting her to sit quietly with eyes closed for any length of time is a huge accomplishment. Hoping to get her to do it with me everyday.

I’m not used to holding good posture but I do for the 30 min sit on the zafu. Could be just a little strain in the muscles, a general ache-y feeling.

30 minutes :white_check_mark: Bit of an endurance test today in stillness. 3 spots of discomfort. Still doable.
I’ll reward myself with some powerwalking

Screens are off so I have to check in the next morning.

Day 7 , a many minute mediation at the beach, listening to the waves crash against the shore as I waited for the sun to rise. Pure heaven.
