I’ve been doing lot’s of new one recently for a change. And The Serenity Prayer. So I’m in! Well I’ll check it out anyway. And that one up above sounds good too. Awaken your intuition.

Frickin fell asleep.
But what I heard sounds like it’s a great supplement to that serenity prayer meditation one. And I really need to hear that judgmental shit. I’ll redo this one in the morning.

Thanks for the challenge, I completed day one last night before bed and day two when I woke up this morning. I was having a hard time coming up with something that I havent forgiven myself for, but I just went along with the meditation anyways. Regardless if today I am at peace with myself, my actions, my thoughts; I am sure there could be a day when that all came crashing down so practicing how to stay open hearted is always good.

And your insight timer looks different to mine… my photo doesnt show on my profile thingy. Strange.

@Dazercat is that chant something I can listen to on an app or where do I find it? I saw another post you made about meditation with serenity prayer too I would like to listen to.

There’s a quite a few of us here that use Insight Timer. It’s a great meditation app.

Stella challenged us to take the 10 day Mantra Challenge. I was too keen on it at first. But I try to keep an open mind and now I love it. And so does my blood pressure. I know it helps.
Keep scrolling through here and you’ll find the serenity prayer meditation. Download the Insight timer app.

After you download the app use the search. Maybe it was a 7 day mantra challenge.
Some I really loved. Some not so much. But I am happy when I remember to use them. Like today before my doctors appointment.

Thank you for that I did figure out which app it was last night and I signed up for the free trial n then scrolled back through this thread and saved some of the stuff I saw on your posts. I haven’t gotten a chance to try it yet but I plan on trying it today after work. :blush: thank you

@Soberbilly that is so awesome I am definitely going to check it out today. And thank you for the encouragement I did stop doing my meditation for a few days but I am back at it and seeing these posts of the stuff you all have been listening too seems very interesting. I can’t wait to check it out. Also there was a YouTube guided meditation that you suggested a while back and I cannot find it anymore. I was going to listen to it yesterday and I thought I had saved it somewhere but didn’t. If you happen to remember what it was would you please let me know? Thank you

I kept falling asleep doing it at home in the afternoon. :grimacing::zzz::zzz:

I mean I want to take notes. I want to play it at my meetings. Not Al-Anon conference approved material. But somehow I got to get this message out on the sly.

Day 3 complete.

I found it easier to come up with something today while listening to the way she worded the 3rd session. This is the stuff I am doing with my therapist at the hospital just worded differently. Once I found the interconnectedness I was able to work with it much easier. It fit. :blush:

I found a new guided meditation for beginners on the insight app and was able to do an 8 minute meditation yesterday. I will be doing my next meditation after this post.
