Billy shared about this one on his gratitude this morning so I checked it out. Its a nice version of a Tonglen meditation. I have always loved Ram Dass’ calm soothing voice.

I drive to Nanaimo to do all the H&I that I have been doing…fuck now I am watching how i end my sentences.

Its beautiful here, lots of places to meditate.

I really liked how he started off not telling me what to do or how to breathe. Although he did say “just sit there.”

It really helped this morning. I had dogs barking. Landscape maintenance. Wife getting up. Even said good morning to her. Pool noises. Coffee spoons clanging. But still sat there in peace somehow just being. Just being aware. I did have my eyes closed.
I don’t know. It’s just what I needed this morning. And it helped me so much.

That’s great to hear Eric. I did 2 guided meditations with him. a.m. Heart Alchemy p.m. Centering. Meditation has many benefits some not readily apparent. Check this out

Google fmri studies of monks if you’re interested in more information. It’s pretty amazing what the studies revealed.

Was able to get aome breathe work in at work today. Really enjoyed this bcuz its not too long and it DID slow me down. I will be using this one often i think

how can you not love Ram Dass. I have had his Be here now book on my bookshelf since I was a teen. We are all just walking each other home.

I just can’t seem to let go. I want to research and learn how to do it. I’d pay big bucks to know how to just “let go.” This meditation was recommended to me by someone in Alanon. Not at all what I expected. :grimacing:


But I think it is perfect. I can’t wait to listen to it again. And again. @erntedank
