Mental health memes and discussion (Part 1)

Wow! I can or could relate to every thing in the second column. Wish I had recognized this 30 years ago. I guess it’s never too late. Just wow!! I did everything in the second column. always! Then I’d finish my day drinking at the bar. Heavily. maybe I should check this topic out more often. I don’t usually come here.

Bluebell @Bluebell my cavoodle dog was named bluebell… I absolutely adored that name. It suited her so well

Absolutely!! At least for me… I gain confidence as I gain mastery and I do that slowly, but steadily. Every little bit adds up.

Omg so I bought this book on Etsy for $5 it’s called “Coping with trauma-related dissociation” and holy f**k do I see myself and what I go through on a daily basis. Not the switching alters but the little child responses etc. no wonder I’m all over the place. It’s an amazing book with lots of exercises. Just throwing it out there in case someone is interested

I’m struggling with forgiveness at the mo, this is very helpful thanks @Lionfish. I think I have forgiven but what happens when one can’t forget? work in progress I guess. I’m just so so glad I’m sober so I can figure this stuff out clear headed. :pray:t2::two_hearts:
