Connection is key for us all. Addicts, survivors, both … For me it’s the basic number one priority. Yes it’s hard. Hugs.

Feeling it too. Sometimes I think to myself, “You already let life pass you by… no point in trying now.”
But I snap out of it (not always immediately) and keep moving forward.

The big thing for me is learning what “healthy grieving” looks like. I think part is identifying the emotions I’m feeling as part of a grief process and letting myself feel them. Getting to know myself in a more nuanced way.
