Why do we drive on the Park Way and park in the Drive Way
Jul. 22nd mind blowing random thought of the day: A kiss is healthier than a handshake, as more germs are transferred on average via the hand than the mouth.
Caveat: after a handshake, you have the opportunity to wash your hands before putting those germs into your mouth. With a kiss, you do not.
Your mouth has antibacterial and antiviral organs will an incredible ability to neutralize threats. The mouth is much more sterile than your hands. Washing your hands in a restaurant is completely wasted, for example, if you turn off the faucet or open the door without a paper towel or something as a barrier.
Oh for sure. My caveat is meant as an amusing (to me) elaboration, not a rebuttal.
Lol. There are certainly some people that could do with a mouth wash though.
Jul. 23rd mind blowing random thought of the day: The rare Argania tree in Morocco produces such irresistible fruit each summer that local goats perch onto its branches like birds so that they can reach them.
Jul. 24th mind blowing random thought of the day: The recipe for Tootsie Roll candies requires that the previous day’s batch be mixed in with the new one each day. Theoretically, this means that there is a little bit of the very first Tootsie Roll made back in 1907 in every new candy created today.
In 2013 in Utah a man found an old McDonald’s burger he had left in his coat pocket and forgotten about for fourteen years, it was said to be in virtually the same condition as when he bought it.
American processed food at its finest
Thing was, the hamburger was only 12 hours old.
Oh shoot I forgot to say it had been in his pocket for fourteen years
Jul. 25th mind blowing random thought of the day: It was a common practice for President Calvin Coolidge to buzz for his bodyguards and then hide under his desk in the Oval Office as they frantically searched for him.
I know, I’m bored, what shall we do today? Ah yes hide and go seek!
Wonder if Trump and Boris Johnson will play that when they meet-up?
Jul. 26th mind blowing random thought of the day: Ostriches and zebras often live together in order to protect each other from predators. The ostrich can see better while the zebra has a better sense of smell and hearing.
Jul. 27th mind blowing random thought of the day: Koalas are so well known for being solitary animals that there is no official word for a collective group of them.
Jul. 28th mind blowing random thought of the day: During WWII, Walt Disney helped the U.S. Army design a Mickey Mouse shaped gas mask in order to make chemical warfare seem less frightening to children.
I want one of those, for Halloween.
Couldn’t find a place to buy one. They are pretty rare, I believe.
We can not see, feel or smell oxygen yet we’re told we can not live without it so we believe it with no questions asked… we can not see, smell or touch God yet some doubt he exist or that we need him to live . Just something I heard a while back.
