I usually run across the stuff I post here online somewhere and pass it on but I figured I’d throw out one from my own mental database that’s managed to survive through the booze & drug soaked years…
Horror filmmaker Tobe Hooper got the idea to give his iconic villain Leatherface a chainsaw as his primary torture weapon while standing in the hardware section of a crowded department store trying to figure out what the quickest means to get people out of his way so he could leave would be. He spotted the chainsaws and thought “Yep…that’d do the trick!”
I, for one, would not get in the way of a chainsaw murderer. Dont know about the rest of you…
One more for good measure: The guy who played Leatherface had never taken drugs in his life but the last couple days before they finished filming someone brought weed brownies to the set and gave him one not realizing he still had stunts to perform. The final scene where he goes crazy swinging the chainsaw when the girl gets away makes him look even more believable as a psycho because he was stoned off his ass goin crazy with the saw.

Can I add one too?
During the average lifespan, we produce enough saliva to fill two swimming pools
Huh. That’s a lot, but I still would have thought it were more!
I think you’re close @Salty. Let’s examine it. In a day an average human produces conservatively around 8-15 liters of saliva. Let’s say an average 12x24 ft swimming pool holds about 10,800 gallons of fluid. If in one day a person produces 2-4 gallons (rounded), then It would take between 7.4-14.8 years to fill the pool. Theoretically, someone who salivates a lot could fill over a dozen swimming pools in their lifetime!
I do think about Pizza a lot.
You will be TS’s pool boy then!
There it is! Evidence that he fills pools with his mouth!

But I read it in the internet so it must have been true! I think Canadians just drool a lot less. Must be the salt in my veins dehydrating me

Same with highland dancing. I’d never know until the end where I placed in the standing. Although maybe that doesn’t fit into sports category
