Oh no don’t avoid it because of me
Everything you might expect from Cronenberg is there. Like…everything! I just thought it didn’t work at all. But it’s interesting at least.
I haven’t seen The Northman, still don’t know why.
Yeah it’s rare. Especially when they filmed a lot…wait…you liked the 56773 Miike’s movies ? ALL of them ? :yum:
To name only one I love everything from, I would say Stanley Kubrick!

No, but I’ve heard good things about it. Unlike to Doctor Strange who not everyone likes that’s what I heard.

Touche! Ha. Yeah his shorts and untranslated works elude me. Agreed with Kubrick! Even his moon landing film was great :joy: jk

Doctor Strange is really a Sam Raimi movie. I liked it, some parts are like a horror movie, desguised in a Marvel movie ahah. It’s also really important to watch the Wandavision show before, in order to understand what’s going on there.
Not sure if my opinion matters really, as I grew up on comics and a Sam Raimi kind of cult :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

aha okay I haven’t seen the film myself but that’s what I’ve heard from others and from film experts also on TV by the way. But everyone has their own opinion of course. And I do like Marvel and also some horror movies so maybe it’s something for me after all

Yes if you like that + the multiverse theory, you will probably like the movie !
Advice not refundable

Never seen a Marvel/Avengers film, you seem to be knowledgeable… if I wanted to watch them all what should I start with to follow any sort of timeline?

It’s a long list
You may find it on a lot of websites
This one is as good as any :

Stick to the bold ones, the movies, skip the tv shows. Well…Except Wandavision , it’s a pretty rad and amazing show.

Marvel has different kinds of movies but basically all with superheroes. Personally I really liked Deadpool 1 and 2 and many other Mavel movies too

Since Disney bought 21th Century Fox, Deadpool 3, unlike the 1 & 2, will be a Marvel movie and will be connected to the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe):v:t2:

Okay well it’s actually taken over by another studio or channel every time, but Deadpool 1 and 2 are from 20th Century Fox Marvel. If you watch the film you will also see that it is from Marvel. When Deadpool 3 comes out, nobody knows yet. I’m waiting with anticipation

Yeah, when Marvel wasn’t successful at all, they sold a lot of their characters to whom would like to buy them. Therefore there are a lot of movies from a lot of cinema companies with the Marvel logo.
At the beginning of the 2000s Marvel decided to make their own movies until 2009, when Disney bought Marvel.
Sony still got the rights for some super heroes like Venom or recently Morbius.
They gave the rights to Marvel/disney to reboot another Spider-Man, who is now in the MCU. And there was also the Fox cinematic universe… since Disney bought the Fox, The X-men, the Fantastic Four and Deadpool are entering the MCU. Marvel studios president confirmed a MCU deadpool 3 r-rated :v:t2:

Ohh i gave myself a headache, this is complicated :joy::man_facepalming:t2:
