Love them. Still got the last one to watch though!
So… I went to a mystery movie premier yesterday at the local cinema. We didn’t know what movie would be screening, until the movie started.
Warning
even the trailer shows strong bloody violence and jump scares.
First time I’ve ever seen a movie in the catory Romance Horror
I didn’t know that category existed.
I give it 2 out of 5 starfish
Purely because sometimes it was so bad, it was good again. It was an unforgettable experience - that’s not necessarily a good thing.
It was definitely something
Edit: I will be going back to mystery movie screenings. I liked the anticipation and surprise of the whole experience… and the popcorn
Love that oldy
Forget about it! Classic!
Just watched The Outrun… WOW!! Loved every painful minute of it. So much truth and sadness. TW for alcohol abuse, mental illness, sexual abuse/violence.
Amazing movie, well treated and acted.
I also love a movie where the landscape is a strong character as well.
It was GORGEOUS.
Just watched Chef
What a nice lovely movie.
I enjoyed it so much. Just what I needed.
Franklins in Austin rules!!! Unfortunately I never made it there in my 36 years living in A Too busy working.
Thanks for the recommendation.
You got it Eric cool movie and music.
One of the things my alcoholism took from me was my love of literature and movies. I haven’t watched a movie in months, and even then, I could barely remember anything about it. So, one project I am taking on in the hours freed up by not drinking is to watch every film on Sight & Sound’s list of the 250 greatest films of all time.
Watched Jeanne Dielman, 23, quai su Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles. I thought it was terrific, but it’s not for everyone.

Watched Chantal Akerman’s Je, Tu, Il, Elle. 1970s avant garde film. Really interesting. I might be on an Akerman binge.

I watched a couple of horrors this weekend.
Mandy
So weird but I enjoyed it. Enjoy seems a strange word to attribute to this film, but it was unusual and effective as a revenge horror. Cage was perfect for the role.
The Watchers
Solid ok. I read the book a while ago… It was better. But they did ok. Worth a watch on a rainy Sunday afternoon,
