Movies Check-in / Reviews šŸ“¼

Yep, i watched Django and Inglorious Bastards both very good. I need to watch The Master its been on my watch to list for too long. Speaking about Tarantino movies i loved The Hateful Eight (it basically takes place in one location and gets more and more tense as it goes on) also Reservoir Dogs is great also one location movie from Tarantino.

We do have similar taste in movies hah, i think i watched more than half the movies from your list. I need to watch Gangs of New York. Training Day is so fucking stressfull to watch for the first time. I dont know if you seen it but i enjoyed The Big Short (its about the housing bubble crash).

Love this movie! :heart_exclamation:

Yeah I’ve seen training day about three times. I don’t think Denzel Washington has one bad movie. And I’ve also seen the big short. There’s not a lot of movies I haven’t seen. I’ve shared this story before on here but maybe 15 years ago I was living at my parents house and I was unemployed and I was probably Watching at least three or four movies a day because I found this thrift store that had VHS tapes for five cents. Seriously five cents. I know the film quality sucks but I was able to look past that and I watched a crazy amount of good movies during that time period.. I think that’s where my love of film comes from. It was a lot of 90s movies more than anything. I feel like that thrift store had a never ending selection.. Looking back though that really wasn’t a healthy way to live. Currently I watch at least one movie A day or Maybe two TV episodes.. But that’s after I’ve done all my obligations and got some physical exercise and been outside. I won’t watch any TV related stuff till I’m done with everything for the day.

I feel like over the years the word celebrity has lost its meaning. Denzel Washington is a actor and human who should definitely be celebrated.

So this was good? I saw 28 years later in the theater and hated it, but sequels are almost always bad

I think it’s a good film I’m waiting to see 28 years later which I heard good things but if didn’t like that chances are you’ll feel the same but check it out. :victory_hand:t4:

I love Adam Sandler… great sequel!!

I’ll have to get Netflix. I just looked up online and that’s where it said it’s being released today. Wonder if it will be anywhere else to purchase? Definitely have to see this!!

Oh man…I just realized that it is only on Netflix for now. Maybe a free trial with Netflix so you can watch :person_shrugging:t4:. It really was a great movie imo and as a sequel it did not disappoint.

I really loved ā€œAnnihilationā€. It’s a really trippy sci-fi about an alien that’s mixing the dna of everything around it, so it’s creating all these really beautiful and disturbing creatures.
ā€œIt Followsā€ is also really good. It’s about a creature that stalks and kills people and changes shape. It’s really good and really creepy.
I also liked ā€œA Cure For Wellness,ā€ which is basically just weird for the sake of weird.

It was good? I figured it would suck. Loved Happy Gilmore! Might have to give it a go.

My BIL didn’t like it - I loved it. Think it was well done and of course Adam was awesome.
