He is 7, but yeah, its the best age.
We just get hyped and go do stuff, usually.
But, His convictions about God/Jesus, its humbling. He has a good heart, so its not that he is turning into this well, you know, but He just loves Jesus in his heart.
Lately Iâve been closer to Jesus than ever before. My faith is stronger than ever before and Iâm so grateful about that. I just love you, Jesus. Thank you for being so strongly in my life.
"The hope that God has provided for you is not merely a wish. Neither is it dependent on other people, possessions, or circumstances for its validity. Instead, biblical hope is an application of your faith that supplies a confident expectation in Godâs fulfillment of His promises. Coupled with faith and love, hope is part of the abiding characteristics in a believerâs life.â
Itâs honestly beautiful to see how your spirituality has grown and evolved as youâve grown in recovery. God has a way of meeting us exactly where we are, through the practices that help us heal, and through the cultures and traditions that speak to our hearts.
I love that youâre finding a deeper connection with Him lately. In my own journey, Jesus Christ has been the One who pulled me out of the âquiet wreckageâ of addiction and chaos. When everything else was shaking, He was immovable. That foundation â the love of our Father â never changes. He doesnât get tired of us, He doesnât walk away, and He doesnât love us less because of our struggles. Heâs steady when weâre not.
And I think itâs really inspiring that youâre using that daily passage app. The Bible can absolutely feel overwhelming when weâre trying to read it alone, but when things are explained in a way we can understand and apply, you start to see Godâs character more clearly â His patience, His mercy, His strength.
What matters isnât if someone says your journey is ârightâ or âwrong.â What matters is the fruit: peace, healing, direction, compassion, honesty. If your Higher Power has brought you closer to love rather than destruction, youâre moving in the right direction.
The fact that youâre journaling your reflections is powerful too. Writing turns faith into action. Reflection turns information into transformation.
Not everyone will be into this, and thatâs okay. But for those of us who know the One who never changes, we can tell you this:
God meets every seeker.
Jesus transforms every life He touches.
And when the culture, the ceremonies, and the prayers point you toward wholeness instead of self-destruction â thatâs grace working in your story.
Iâm proud of you for leaning in instead of running away. Keep going. Keep seeking. Keep reading. And when the world shakes (because it will), remember:
