My Journey to Recovery From Porn and Masturbation

Day 5 sober from Masturbation

Good job, keep going, keep working on your recovery and sobriety :flexed_biceps:

Congrats on day 5! Keep up the good work :flexed_biceps:

Today, I thank God for another day — for this new life I need to start enjoying.
Yesterday, one door closed, but another opened. I finally started my Sexaholics sessions, and from now on, this will be my new “addiction” — moving forward, healing, and rebuilding my life for myself and my family.

It’s been 12 days sober, and every day brings new battles — with my mind, my anger, my anxiety. Looking back, I realize how an addiction can destroy in minutes what takes years to build… yet also how grace gives us the strength to rise again.

For one more day — this one’s for me. Thank you, God. :folded_hands:

Day 7 sober from masturbation

I was so close to relapsing I engaged in very dangerous activities I installed the dating apps and made some random calls which did not end well and this happened yesterday as well and I survived and today was worst that would have lead to my relapse
Why I’m I doing this I’m in a good place why ruin it for what for why
It makes me sad the last threshold was that I didn’t masturbate every other thing apart from Porn, Social media and Masturbation I’m still sober

We’re heading into our first month of sobriety. It hasn’t been easy avoiding relapse. All the triggers outside have made me change my focus on my recovery. There have been days when the urge to use again, even just a little, has been there, but thank God I’ve been able to replace it with enjoying the simple things in life, which are there all the time too.thank GOD
