Im in a Hotel where they serve coffee in the office at 7am and have no coffee pots in the rooms. I brought my own because I wake up at 5 or 6 on my own and I dont want to wait. lol

Wellā¦i am addicted to caffeine, but Iāve come way down from before when i was drinking espresso shots all day. I usually only have 3-5 shots a day now! 
Except today having the whole 3 1/2 cups of coffee too 
but it was for work soā¦ Shouldnāt count

Pour over is fresher for sure. Just as long as they are letting it bloom before doing the full pour over it is better in my opinion

I know the one guy who works there knows what āBloomā is because he mentioned that word when he made my last one. He also said the reason there are no local CoffeeMasters is because the DM is a cheapskate who doesnāt want to pay for anyone to go to the classā¦

the class is free for partners. They only have to pay for training hours ! Thatās insane that they wonāt approve the training time!

Thank you! I hopefully will have some extra time tomorrow at work to do another class. Or if not, soon. Iād like to complete coffee master by the time school gets out (mid June) so i can ask for a raise in time for tripling my grocery bill 
since theyāll be home all day wanting endless snacks

Sorry Iāve been a bit remiss in posting on my favourite thread, but, me and @Deelzebub have been communing on the darkside (Tea) and I got a bit carried away with the new variates that I bought.
Now the weathers nice and Iām doing some serious work in the garden Iāve got the coffee pot on full time again. Itās easier than making tea which can get bitter the longer you leave it, where as coffee only gets better IMHO.
Oh and my Dads been diagnosed with Prostate and possibly Pancreatic cancer, so Iāve been spending time with him & mum down in South Wales 
, which is about a 4Ā½ hr drive one way, so itās always an overnighter, but, usually a few days down there at least.

Sorry to hear about your dad. That is good that you are so supportive. I found out yesterday that my mother is stricken with cancer and is on her way out. I have not had much of a relationship with my parents for many years. For example I visited her for Motherās Day a few weeks ago and was asked to leave. I left thinking why do I even waste my time with this bullshit.
I might visit her for the last time soon but could get the same reaction. I probably sound apathetic but It is what it is now and has been for many years. I will not ask for anyoneās condolences in this matter and have already instructed my wife to not tell anyone about itā¦

Checking in here as itās way easier than reading all the other threads that Iāve missed. Iāve been through a lot recently but itās hard for me to put my thoughts down. I have mastered the art of the Power Nap though and thatās getting me through. Oh, and Iām currently drinking Lidl own brand coffee in the big golden vacuum packed bricks. Simple but very good and economical too.
