It’s just ground coffee, dead simple. I use a caffitiere. I keep some Douwe Egberts instant in the cupboard for when my dad visits though.

@Scorpn I was at my local Starbucks yesterday and they had a new ‘Clover’ machine. Does this affect the quality of the coffee?

we’re getting the new vertica clover soon. It grinds and brews each cup fresh. No more pot sitting around getting cold. There are 6 coffee options at once too!

Whatever dark roast they have. I am so spoiled I won a free bag of Veranda blend and I will be giving it away as I cannot stomach light roasts anymore…

if it’s unopened there’s a chance you can exchange it at your local store. Most of the coffee blends are the same price and a lot of times there are people at my store who ask for different ones because it was a gift.
But giving it as a gift of they don’t let you is a nice idea

Sorry, but all coffee tastes the same to me? Unless I put flavored creamer in it, coffee is just coffee to me.

I didn’t start perceiving the differences until I stopped smoking and I started taking my coffee black no sweet. Before that, I could tell instant from fresh brewed from reheated via stove/microwave but that was about it.

Looking forward to finishing my coffee master program. Only one more left to do. This week I am acting store manager, and I think I like it better than my current actual position…so far.

When I get chance to have one they’re exquisite. I’m refurbing our bathroom and toilet, wood paneling to box off the pipes is a right royal pain in the arse :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Never tried it really, my Gran used to make some concoction using Camp coffee, milk and sugar it was bloody awful :innocent:&:smiling_imp:

Love cold brew! I wonder is there a mesh filter you can use to avoid the paper?
I steep mine for 24 hours then cut it by half.
And I know some others only steep it 8-12 hours and don’t cut it.
How do you make it?
