Woke up on time for work, bank account isn’t burned down, not sweaty and shakey.

Hangover free Saturday mornings are freaking awesome!

Good work on 6 days, keep putting 1 foot in front of the other friend, we’re getting where we want to be by doing it daily.

Headed hangover-free to my favorite womens AA meeting this saturday morning, had a nice breakfast and coffee and sitting warm in a shaft of sunlight under a soft blanket on my couch waiting for my ride. Anything in my life can be improved by removing a hangover!! Welcome back to the sober saturday club!

What an amazing feeling it is to wake up on a weekend completely fresh, to do with the day as you see fit!

That feeling has never gone away for me, and speaking to people with 5, 10, 20 years sobriety, it never does.

I love waking up early whilst the rest of the world sleeps. Get ahead in the day and so much more done with amazing productivity. Plus my daughter doesn’t disturb my meditation and yoga if I do it at 5am

Love hangover free mornings. I still get giddy when I wake up and realize I have nothing to regret, don’t have to check my phone, feel fresh and rested and don’t have that horrible anxious all over feeling. So grateful for this hangover free day!

Schedule an early morning workout on Saturday and Sunday. That helps me stay on track, no o e wants to throw down a solid workout even the least bit dehydrated let alone hungover.
Great job! Congratulations, enjoy your weekend!

I am also hangover free for my second Saturday (day 12). My only issue is unable to sleep the last 2 nights. For the first 9 days was sleeping better than I ever have…I really hope it’s not turning into something. No sleep means anxiety means wanting to drink to take the edge off (which never works and makes the anxiety worse). Sorry for negative and this wonderfully positive post. Will cheer up and push on through! Happy Saturday

Sleep can get a little messy when getting sober. Lots of options to try…

  • melatonin 1 or 2 mg

  • bedtime and sleepy teas

  • sleep meditations

  • magnesium glycinate supplements

  • epsom salt warm bath before bed

  • avoid caffeine and dark chocolate before bed

  • keep your bedroom cool

This is my first weekend sober in a long time. I’m on day 7  I woke up early made a nice breakfast listened to music. Ive been working on a paper for school all day because I didnt do it last weekend because I was hungover. I’m surprisingly content doing homework all day by myself.
