No More Added Sugar

Day 68.
Trying a new smoothie. Thought I’d post it here.
I don’t think I’ve had it before. I think it’s good. Not sure yet.

Black Sesame Banana Smoothie

Why don’t you call it a
Pine Pollen and Zucchini smoothie?
:joy:

That’s not what they, Daily Harvest, calls it.
If they called it zucchini and pine pollen smoothie no one would probably buy it. :rofl:
I liked it in the end. It was different. The blueberry one I like has too much cacao and 32 g sugar. I’m afraid to try it again.
Since this had blueberry and nanner in it I thought I’d try it.

@Dazercat looks like it has some good stuff in there, the essence of the green , eau de forest :upside_down_face: I just googled and looks like you can get all kinds of products w the pine pollen! Bon appetit!

Mjammie!! :yum::yum::yum:
It’s called Muntendrop in Dutch.
I do not think we have them here without the sugar! :see_no_evil:

Ha ha, no thanks😅 It’s funny to see how the way the brand made it look as Dutch as possible: orange, the flag colours ànd a mill! And don’t forget the word DUTCH in huge letters.
Dutch sells? :sunglasses:

Oh yes, and actually we have a local store that specializes in Dutch candies and food. It’s amazing, I will have to take some photos for you next time I am shopping for licorice.

Day 74.

Made in Canada? :canada:
Well if I don’t like them I wonder who I could send them too :thinking:
They’re actually pretty good. I like the little box I couldn’t figure out how to open.
BECAUSE I DON’T READ DIRECTIONS :crazy_face:

Well done Eric! :tada: Don’t you miss the sugar at all? Do you eat stuff like ahorn sirup ore sweetners like that? Because of my gallblatter issues I can’t eat much, also no sugar. No fat, no sugar, coffee, onions, kale, etc. I found my food boring these days :pensive:
But again congratulations!!:tada::tada::tada:

Thank you.
I guess I don’t really miss the sugar. It helps a lot with my weight control. I’ve gotten pretty use to it. For me chocolates, gelato, ice creams, cakes, pies, oh and especially cookies. They are/were just like booze and cats :joy_cat:. I can’t just have one. Or just a portion. I’d eat a whole bag of cookies. Or polish off a container of gelato or ice cream. Especially when I was substituting it for booze. I reckon I’m getting less headaches these days. So no I guess I don’t miss it much. Lately I been having some dried fruits like mangoes to have a snack or dessert on. Tonight I mixed a few raisins and cashews for a little treats
It’s going well.
I hope you can get the gallbladder thing straightened out soon.

I’m still trying to figure out the Holiday Baking thing. Kelly is happy she won’t have to bake any pies if I’m not going to eat any. I told her she could still do a pumpkin pie. But she said it has sugar in it. Oh well.
Thanks for stopping by.
:pray:t2::heart::zzz::zzz::zzz::zzz:

You also do not eat Stevia ore Erythritol? You can bake sweet cakes with that? No calories! And they do not effect the bloodsugar.
Have a good sleep Eric see you tomorrow!

I would trust these to taste good. There is a serious lack of love for licorice in the States. I once found a sugar free licorice candy, but had to throw it away because it was horrible.

Oh gosh they are so yummy. I do not find them triggering for sugar either because they are not sweet!!! Win win. :heart_eyes:

Day 78
Found these at the my Whole Foods.
@Chiron
First time I’ve eaten anything labeled Keto.
Not bad. No added sugar.
I kinda feel like I’m cheating. Now I just have to make sure I don’t eat the whole bag. Good thing they don’t taste good enough, yet, to eat the whole bag :rofl:. But there is an after taste I don’t care for.
