Thanks. Will do as soon as my next week is up from my procedure. I usually do a combo of my Pilates reformer stretches and some yoga stretches. Right now I got to be careful with the groin area where they inserted the catheter :scream: TMI. Luckily all my flights were short ups and downs but ya flying any amount of time fucks you up :grimacing:

Don’t know anything about protein powders. I never use them. I eat enough meat, chicken and fish, I don’t reckon I need a protein supplement. I got a great lemon dressing I like at home I can post it to ya later. I been having my salads out in restaurants lately and just using theirs. And I’m not going to worry about sugar content in that one. Especially if I’m cutting out all that other unnecessary sugar.

A lot of times at home I just use an olive oil and lemon squeeze like sassy said. Or olive oil and a red wine vinaigrette.

My doc wants me to post a picture of my groin area to their health chart app next week :scream::scream: I hope I don’t meme it by accident :rofl::rofl:
Kind of weird. Technology these days.

Optimum Nutrition (ON) Gold Standard. Best bang for your buck by miiiiiles, little to no sugar, tastes great/mixes well. Been using it exclusively for nearly 10 yrs. Whey protein isolate.

Not big on dressings (I like a dry salad, yes I deserve a cell next to Hannibal Lecter), but my experience has been that the majority are junk and you’re better off making your own. Olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, maybe some oregano depending on what it’s for :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks TMAC! Dry salad? Wow, man, that is impressive.

Ya I love my reformer. I finally broke down and got one about 6 or 7 ? Months ago when the fitness center closed. I wish I didn’t wait so long. Can’t wait to get back on it next week.

Day 1 no extra added sugar :white_check_mark:

Looks like I will make it through day 1 no extra added sugar. The sugar cravings were tough after lunch and after dinner but I made it.

The fruit flavored trident is nice… took Beth’s advice and it’s good for the night time cravings.

You reminded me of a time when I, as a non drinker, went balcony to balcony in New Orleans eating bread puddings! Yes! :grinning:
@LeeHawk I used to make fancy salad dressings w dijon and all, now I just free hand pour olive oil and vinegar and add whatever else. Fresh herbs. There are beautiful vinegars out there. I have a cranberry pear balsamic I have used a lot for many years. It is sweetish and the company says no added sugar. I have stopped using it at home preferring a tarragon vinegar. Guests love the cranberry pear.

@Dazercat You have eaten some beautiful desserts… and lucky for you, you are tall and were able to eat them without gaining hardly any weight. I know you don’t want to get back to where you were before you lost weight.
Your smoothie and the cherry juice are healthy… good antioxidants/anti inflammation there.
As far as the Talenti, one of these days I might get it, I have lusted after it. Glad they make small container and I will want to share it.
New ventures for you! Please tell me the kitties name on your counter?
I chewed gum when I quit smoking.

Good of you Eric! You made me motivated as well to try again. I want to reduce sugar hundred of time but failed as much.
Just made a timer for the sugar issue

Yikes! Instead of eating it you can look at it. Pics of sweets do not trigger me. I enjoy looking at them.
Edit! I see it is an apple and a donut, a lesson!

That one is Beatrix. We call her B! Heavy on the exclamation point .
She’s the nuttiest one of the 4.

Cool. :sunglasses: Always great to not be alone in this kind of adventure. I’ve never tried cutting out sugar before. Like not drinking ODAAT

I bet they had some great bourbon sauce for the bread puddings down there. Never done New Orleans for some reason. Probably because of all the booze.
