But you didn’t!
I would have eaten it and then remembered that I didn’t do sugar anymore!
Well done for the 36 days!
This almost happened with me and a soda the hubs was drinking. I almost had a sip but luckily remember before that I’m no sugar at the moment. I’m almost back to a week!!
It helped that she had also brought me a plate of dinner that was sitting in the fridge next to it. And there were more of the sugar free breakfast cookies there too that were specifically for me. Those helped remind me. So much of my sweet cravings are emotional or just general hunger tho so as long as I remember, they pass pretty quick.
Passed a week! It hasn’t been super hard. I find the hardest time is right before Mother Nature comes
I didn’t think anyone was still doing this.
I mean I guess once you’re doing it there’s nothing to chat about. Good for you Twinnie
Oh I’m doin’ it alright.
Ty
Yesssssss, youre doing so well!
I think I want to rejoin this. I noticed the 2 months when I was being conscious of not going overboard with added sugar I had a less rough period. This past month I haven’t gone super overboard but haven’t been watching the added sugar like I was and this period is freaking terrible.
Y’all are doing so amazing @Its_me_Stella and @anon9289869 !!!
Welcome back!!!
Thank you. Happy to be back if it helps with my hormones I’ll give up sugar to be less hormonal
Those waffles looked great yesterday. I was thinking sugar free. NOT!
Great job on the 60 days Jess
@anon9289869
Those waffles were worth it. They were so dang good. I just found out about this new little cafe and they have all kinds of good stuff. I’ll be trying their non sweet stuff moving forward lol
I just cant let myself grow out of my clothes. I o ly have a few and can’t afford more so I have got to get this sugar thing under control now! Lol
I’m fine at home as I don’t bring it in the house, but at AA meetings people are always bringing in donuts, cupcakes and such and we’ve had a lot of celebrations to attend this mo th already where there has been loads of cake and I have seriously over indulged. I just switch addictions.
Looks like I need to also add sugar addiction on my calendar lol brilliant idea!
I definitely had a good chunk of time under my belt before I started this. But I was definitely switching addictions too. I cannot have it in the house. And that helps. I’ve posted so good sugar free stuff. Have a good read around. The thread has got as much action as it did in the beginning. I’m coming up on 11 months now.
I hope it helps.
Take water and gum with you to the meeting. The water will help you feel full and the gum will trick your brain with the chewing action. The rest is will power You can do it!!
