No More Added Sugar

I’ll try this one on the tele one of these nights.

It’s okay. I should have put the documentaries on first then added the presentation for the interested. Sugar threads always make me think of that presentation.

Day 6 no sugar.
Not really missing it. Except to have a treat after a meal. Like a chocolate or pie. The urge goes away eventually.
Feels good. And now I get to workout again. I hope to be back at goal weight soon.

I’ve decided to just jump in the deep end with you. Day three for me. I do not detox well from sugar.

Thank you Claudia. Feeling pretty good about it too. I think my body does like having the sugar from fruit in my smoothies. So I’m good with that. And working on doing that on a regular basis in the morning.

And I weighed in at 201. Today. I’m really happy about those numbers.

Now, I know you’re not going keto, but these are amazingly good and low in sugar:

They have some other flavors and cereal (I get the chocolate to just munch on).

Looks pretty interesting.
I might check them out after awhile. I appreciate it.
Presently though, I’m afraid to do, or try any substitutions. I’m afraid I’ll binge on them. Right now I’m doing pretty pretty good just abstaining. The only time I have real urges are immediately after I eat lunch or dinner. I crave a chocolate type sweet. But it goes away after awhile. And it’s been a little quicker or easier each day.
Congratulations on your 4 days.
And I appreciate the support.

Day nine no sugar :white_check_mark:
Got in a good 3 1/2 mile mostly power walk on the trail and a minute 30 plank and stretched.

No more added sugar. Day 10 :white_check_mark:
I did get a little headachy again this afternoon but I think that might be because I didn’t eat enough today. Because I was also shaky just before dinner. Some peanuts help the hunger shakes and the headache never got full blown.

Double digits Eric, congratulations! :tada::tada:
Did you drink enough? I get a headache easily because I forget to drink enough water during the day.
I’m on day 2 for the sugar challenge, so far so good!

Was sick yesterday. Got a foodpoisoning so the scale was nice to me this morning. But I guess it’s all fluid so not real weightloss.
Good luck all with this sugarchallenge, let’s add another day :sunglasses:

Thanks for checking in ladies.

Green tea is a staple in my house. After my 1 cup of coffee I have my lean green tea mixed with my Ginger turmeric tea. And I have a variety of ice greens later. Like pomegranate green or that açai green tea I make and pour over ice. It sounds good for you. Don’t know about that but I like it.

The water drinking is always a challenge for me. I try. And it really is important especially since I live at 7000 feet. 2133 meters ? And it’s so dry up here.

Should we start a water counter :joy::joy::joy:
Again. Thanks for stopping by. Glad you’re feeling better Claudia.
