Yes, agree with @Englishd I appreciate the nominations, but humbly submit that I am simply not ready - perhaps in the future when I am more grounded in sobriety. That said, I am not leaving this place. It is my fellowship. I respectfully nominate;

Lots of people on here who offer good advice and could be a moderator
I think they should definitely come on here daily and post fairly often so they know everybody and the format (that doesn’t mean they have to be a regular- I think that’s stupid anyway, it should be on the time you spend on the forum not how many posts you like etc…)

Definitely understood Dereck. I just really agree with you. As Dan pointed out in my 6 month post, it takes a long time just to clear the mind and really dig deep on recovery. I’m just getting to that point. That said, I agree with your other point about both sides to the coin…
You know what, I also really want to nominate @Jante76 . Great advice, great support, level headed, not afraid to call BS when needed. All around super guy. He would be outstanding as well.

i nominated her more for her compassionate and thoughtful responses, her respect of other members, her humility, i could go on but im at work. i dont think moderators should be selected solely because of the advice they post, but more so of how they respond to potential issues, and thats why i think shes the ideal candidate. shes never added any fuel to any fire on here, furthermore defused several. if someones got the ability to ban folks they should demonstrate an abity to be fair an unbiased and i believe she would do just that. i backed newperspective 100%, hes aa, and he does a phenomenal job. her recovery program, as much as i admire it, is not the main factor at all nominating her.
