Non alcoholic beverages

What are you favorite non alcoholic beverages or “mock tails” to enjoy or to make you feel like you are treating yourself? Today is day 3 and I had strawberry herbal tea with a slice of grapefruit and it was oddly refreshing and made me feel good. Ready to find all the fun sober drinks

I do the same :see_no_evil: I make sure to stock up so I dont suddenly are out, that would be crisis if the store are closed or on a sunday. Its wierd, but at least its not alcohol.

I’ve just discovered non alcoholic Martini is available. I mix it 50/50 with manderin tonic water and ice. I never drank martini when I was drinking so no association with the past + I now feel dead sophisticated…

I’ve been enjoying diet Arizona green tea. I’m also looking for a good margarita mocktail recipe for taco night  nothing beats that sour lime and tacos

Although I’m not an alcoholic and drink what I want to drink, I do know my share of non-alcoholic beverages. I love Starbucks ice coffee signature chocolate which is something you can just buy at any supermarket (at least in the Netherlands). I also love any juice that has a pear apple taste or that has a peach apple taste. We don’t have any international brands of that in the Netherlands so I can’t name a specific brand. And I love juices with mango pineapple taste.

My go too’s are…
Sparkling mineral water and I add drops of turmeric extract, passionflower extract, lemon, lime…things like that.
It’s weird but I crave the sparkling over plain water now. Have also started drinking soft drink which I never did in the past. Only just read ingredients so when they’re finished I’ll be ditching.
Also drink heaps of herbal tea and earl grey,
Ice decaf coffee

I mostly just drink water, when I’m not pounding energy drinks, but bartending was something I loved and can make some pretty awesome virgins. A summer favorite of mine is the virgin Mojito.

Muddle mint with simple syrup and lime, then mix with club soda. Depending on how fancy you want to be, you can mix with club soda and ice in shaker and stir for a minute, then strain into a tall glass with fresh ice (and slices of lime for hyper fancy). Put fresh sprig of mint at top with a piece of lime and enjoy. A good variety would be to add just a little tiny bit of marashino cherry juice and garnish with a cherry; or muddle a favorite berry in with the mint mixture, then include a couple of chosen berries in the garnish.

For me, the creativity of bartending and entertaining guests was part of the draw to drinking, so doing things like this really helped fill something that would have been a massive void.

Pomegranate Moscow Mule…substitute Sprite for the Titos

I buy them at a natural, organic food and medicine place. A naturopath should have them. Passionflower is good for anxiety too so I have that more at night for sleep

Ok I made it tonight because we made a taco casserole. It’s pretty good I got lemon lime sparkling water instead of tonic. Go very easy on the pickle juice. You probably only need a few drops or so. I used a tiny little pour out of the pickle jar and it tasted too much like pickles :joy: the rest of the flavors were good though… it did scratch the itch of the tangy lime with anything taco though
