Okay the hospital visit is over, I finally know where I stand. The fracture on my abdomen is now more than 5 centimeters and I learned today that the peritoneum consists of several layers. To be able to make a good indication of the procedure they want to use, I first need a CT scan. On the basis of this, they can see exactly where the peritoneum is that needs to be repaired and how they can then separate those layers and reattach all muscle attachments towards the middle. Blood tests and a conversation with the surgeon for almost an hour and a half, which in itself felt okay because I said despite his apologies that I was glad it had lasted so long because I can see that he took the trouble to go through my case well and even consult with another doctor before coming to see me. Well that was my little update.
I do still need a brace for arround my body but insurance is bitching about the costs and keep not giving me the damn thing for over 4 months now. The doctor made another letter… Pfff
@eindhoven airport , really feeling good about the fact my wandering takes me to more places… Yet don’t I know what the future holds, the 12th next month it’s back 2 radiology but hey…
I had to spend half my cash on the re_routing and am down 400€ … My card doesn’t work abroad so I only took 850 cash. Well I have to make due and will pray for no more extra costs.
