Opinions please friends/Yorkshire pudding thread

Sounds like all your hard work has paid off Kelly. I’m so pleased that you’ve had a lovely day, and no doubt made some magic memories
I’ve had a lovely day thank you. Dinner seemed much less stressful than usual. I don’t know if it’s because we prepped / delegated more, or because I wasn’t drinking  Either way it went smoothly and I really enjoyed it. Exhausted but very happy xx

Isnt it great to feel so free of it? I remember some mornings when i was at my worst when id wake up and lay there crying because i felt so trapped that i couldnt stop drinking, that feeling of utter despair…and to be able to have this life now is pretty unbelievable, im so grateful xx

‘Trapped’ is such a good description.
Now we are free. And freedom tastes SO good  X

I made six big Yorkies and six tiny ones. Fresh rosemary and thyme inside the batter!

Looks good :yum: The addition of Rosemary & Thyme sounds like a bit of a game changer… X

I’m not sure if this is the place to discuss, or whether this is an international, national or county level thing…. But….Is Bubble & Squeak on anyone else’s menu today? :yum: X

Well, now that you mention it…I am really stuck between doing B&S or making another full dinner… I’ve been thinking about this far too long and as I feel asleep last night.

Hahaha love it, especially the falling asleep thinking of food
Fair play to you. I don’t have the energy to make a whole new meal ! And we definitely ‘accidentally’ made too much veg purely to make B&S today. Soooo good :yum: X

It is definitely very good! I have leftover meat though as well, I feel asleep thinking about slow cooking the leftover meat again in gravy and onions too go with the Yorkies and sprouts etc :joy::joy::joy:

I’m pretty certain I’m thinking about tea at lunch… :joy:

There’s food for days here, quite literally. It will occupy a significant space in my mind for the next week  X

This meal looks fantastic :heart_eyes::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
Still the Yorkies make me giggle :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
But it looks simply epic all in all :muscle::pray::+1:

I was hoping to do a mash up toad in the hole tonight with the leftover beef, turkey and lashings of gravy, but it’s all gone.

Sounds good !
The leftovers got used up here much more quickly than I’d have liked :unamused: x

Yeah I hear you on the diet. I’ve been gradually fading out the indulgent food since yesterday. I have more than a little cheese to use up still :flushed: X
