Opinions please friends/Yorkshire pudding thread

Hell yes! We have to include a Dutch baby on the menu too, now that we know that’s a thing

Hi Leo !
Welcome to the forum! You’ve managed to stumble across a thread that has evolved somewhat since @Starlight14 originally posted!
If you’d like to debate the humble Yorkshire pudding stick around - the porky yorkie sounds great !
Puds aside, there’s some really informative, supportive and helpful threads on other topics on the forum.
Have a read around, great to see you here X

Welcome! That sounds bloody brilliant!

We are all diverting our brains from our DOC so until someone puts their hand up for Yorkie addiction we are good,

I mentioned this at work today and it was met with much enthusiasm.
It was then brought to my attention that crème brûlée Yorkies are a thing. Can you believe it ?! X

Hey Leo!

Welcome to the family. Great to meet you. You’ve chosen a great thread to introduce yourself. As much as this community is always helpful, full of support and great advice for the rather serious topic of addiction, this thread here shows that we do have a laugh. And sobriety doesn’t have to be dull, boring, antisocial or unbearable.
I hope to see you around
:squid:

PS: I so need a Porky Yorky selling cob shop in my life!

I think the shop should be called 'Yorky Baby!"
Because of the yorky and Dutch baby influences and the fact that both are served there…

I even have a theme tune for the Christmas TV ad…“Yorky baby…slip a yorky under the tree…for me…been an awful good girl…”
so on and so forth…

Welcome @LeoLeo

For me it wasn’t a problem being around people who drank. I actually never gave it a thought, but now that you mention it, I understand it could be an issue for a lot of alcoholics.
If you feel strong enough, go ahead. You’ll sip on your sparkling water or non alcoholic cocktail or whatever you usually drink and probably won’t even notice the others drinking. Obviously, that’s just my opinion. The only thing that would bother me would be the smell of alcohol which I probably never liked and, since I started my sobriety journey, I find extremely unpleasant.
Merry Christmas and enjoy the holidays!

Never knew it could get better then clotted cream @Louloubelle . But crème brûlée :drooling_face::drooling_face::smiling_face_with_three_hearts: hmmmm…

I’m deeply ashamed that I did ignore Yorkies for so long.

Although I never dissed them, didn’t I Kelly?

No…it was a gentle warning to anyone that decided to do so because it would have hurt my eyes to see such blasphemy!
