Just want to see how many other active members have a porn or sex addiction and would like to hear your stories as well. I know there are a few of us at least.

Count me as one. I have been a daily porn user since I was about 14 and have been trying to quit for a few years now. I’ve had some good streaks of 30 and even 90 days, but since my long term relationship ended several months ago, it’s been really tough to keep it up. The anxiety really does me in.

I am a sex addict as well. I have made it six months without acting out. One day at a time. I go to three SAA meeting a week and have a great network of fellow addicts. This addiction is difficult like so many addictions. I have used sex as my medicine of choice for years as well as an escape.

Same almost 3 I’m 18 and I been addicted to porn since I was 10 and been well you know since I was 9 and a couple of days ago I realized I had an addiction I would watch like 12 hours of porn in a week and I would you know like 2 times a day but every timed I was in a relationship I never did that stuff and I don’t know why its so diffrent when I’m in a relationship

I just started stopped almost 3 days a going staying strong and cold showers help when you get an urge I’m 18 and I been addicted to porn since I was 10 and been well you know since I was 9 and a couple of days ago I realized I had an addiction I would watch like 12 hours of porn in a week and I would you know like 2 times a day but every timed I was in a relationship I never did that stuff and I don’t know why its so diffrent when I’m in a relationship but anyways I’m glad I came to realize before it got any worst

I’m one. I assumed it wouldn’t get me because those thoughts were always been a little repulsive to me, so I wasn’t careful. Somehow it snuck in and took control. Images and video are still repulsive but writing is what gets me. I have to be super careful about what I read now. No one ever tells you about written pornography…

I am one too and I am also a meth addict. I’ve been watching porn since 6 or 8. The meth addiction enhanced my porn addiction really bad. So i’m here now… fighting two addictions.

I am a porn addict too. It was the day before yesterday that I decided that I have had enough of it. To be honest, its pretty damn hard not to think about porn right now. I had tried to stop it before but I relapsed within a few hours. I hope to last long this time.

Unfortunately sexuality is a part of our lives. You can find a balance and be healthy. It takes lots of effort. I went cold turkey and didn’t masterbation or watch porn for 90 days. It was the hardest thing I have ever done since I had been doing it for 30 years but it is possible. One day at a time.

I understand the struggle I let pornography and chat room nudes ruin my marriage. No one ever thinks it can get that serious but It surely can. I’ve fought a long battle for 12 years. I decided to try the 90 day challenge as I feel that’s a great start. Good luck everyone!

I’m a porn addict too, saw my first porn mag when I was 9 and since then my life has been a struggle. I’m one day sober, and I’m ready to move forward

And you can reach out to me n Iggy (@Ignatius), we’ve been around awhile. I’m actually kinda glad you started this post cuz I noticed some new names.
@MoShain, @Addict1998 great job; don’t know you guys but those numbers are inspiring. And everyone else, whether day 1 or 1 million,just keep it going one day at a time. God can help us through all of this. Find what motivates u and stick with it. Identify your triggers and find things to replace them with.
@Nortonw we’ve been sober for roughly the same amount of time; that’s cool! 
@ShamedPuppet so so true,they don’t warn you about the written porn. I realized all too late that it was bad and that it even existed. I just thought the author was great at drama and imagery,etc.
@Market_baller300 I cannot only imagine how challenging it is trying to kick 2 addictions at a time. Just try your best,and just in case you stumble with one,it doesn’t mean you have to fall with the other. Some habits are easier to kick than others.
