Beautiful! Elegant!
I’ve never seen such blossoming on an orchid before! It’s stunning.
Wow…these are beautiful
!
That is very impressive!!
Transplanting my okra into bigger pots. I am a beginner and I’m learning by trial and error mostly I know it’s probably stupid to plant single seeds in pots But I almost feel like I can control everything better and see exactly what’s going to happen. I’m about to start working on a raised garden bed and then eventually I will buy some Dixie cups to use for seeds because I thought of that recently and then keep them inside or right on the patio for two or three weeks without light And then plant them into the raised bed.
This Is my little station and where I’ve been starting everything..
The ones that are barely sprouting is peppers. I heard the okra produce pretty cool flowers but I guess we’ll see. I still need to purchase neem oil And some other things. This is such a fun hobby and it just really makes sense to me. Of course I’ve been reading and trying to learn but usually that’s not the way I learn how to do things
I need to purchase some more larger plastic pots. I’m probably going to see how they do in the pots but then also put some into the ground as well the okra that is six or 7 inches and well sprouted.. I have a few that are still in the seedling pots
I still have a decent amount of okra and pepper seeds but I’m going to look for other seeds for July and August and lots of humidity and sun
I was thinking of planting it in this or something this size. Maybe red though.
Some plants like small spaces, you could just leave it in the small pot and place it inside and ornamental one like you have. If you want to fill around it just use some rocks.
Its a pretty one, I have never tried to mother a coffee plant before. I will live vicariously through you. ![]()
So very excited - love the plant and the pot

I love it and am honored. Beautiful plants and pots
Yessss!!! Looks great.
Whoa second picture! That is one rad plant. What’s her name?
Myrtillocactus geometrizans cristata, a crested “Blue Myrtle” cactus.
One of my favorites too. Blue in summer, and turns light purple in winter. All different shades in between. They are beautiful plants. Way more blue than you can tell in the pic…poor lighting.
I’ve had mine almost 2 years now. Its the “crested” part that gives it the unique shape. Cristata is a genetic mutation that causes it to grow like that. It can occur in any cactus, as far as I know.
I’ve been dabating keeping it in this bowl, keeping it small - or moving it to a big pot and letting it get huge. I planted it with the former being the intent, but feel the pull to grow a monster. I’ve seen ones as tall as me and wider than me.
The write up w/photos on LLIFLE is interesting.
Wowza! She’s a beaut and it looks like she will just get more beautiful.
Wow! Im speechless- they are BEAUTIFUL. thank you so much sharing these photos. Third picture what type of succulent is that? Is the white part soft or prikly?
How fascinating!! What a really cool cactus
