I was starting to worry that my big euphorbia ammak wasn’t going to wake up!
Delayed growing season, it seems. Happened with a lot of my plants while I figured out the new greenhouse setup, they were getting way too much sun the first month or two until I figured out the right amount of shade and where to put it. They needed some time to settle.
This one has a little more sentimental value since it’s one of a handful or so that I still have from when I first moved to AZ. It was gifted to me at about 12” tall in Oct 2021. Now about 38” and finally lifting off for more. Easily my tallest plant friend.
From the Arabian peninsula. Closely related to holly.

how do you stop the stems from growing like 2 feet long?? I have one orchid that blooms like yours here but the stems get so long it’s hard to water it because I have to attach the long stems to everything to keep the blooms of the counter - and then I can’t move any of the plants to the sink for watering.

I planted up a terrarium as a 50th birthday gift for a friend who says she’s terrible with houseplants. I gathered tiny plants growing in a wall. I also put a horse chestnut in the middle. I have no idea if it will germinate, but it will be fun if it does.

Finally getting around to getting my catio arranged the way I like it.

For me: I do not move them a lot when he’s blooming. Just a bit of water and no “drowning” in the sink.
