It’s hard to see which one I am talking about they are all my pride and joy and this is only a section of them but in the corner of my window pane there is a gigantic pothos who once was just a cutting 8 years ago..within the past 2 years she has been climbing up this window getting glorious leaves at her top all I had to do was change her pot, place her in a window and give her support and she did the rest..like us in recovery. Sometimes a change in environment is all we need to thrive. Can’t wait to see you Plant children, sending good vibes y’all
The last time I repotted this spiny baby I broke the pot. And put it in plastic. Grrr. I’ll rely on gravity to help me. Thanks T, progress pics when I get to it as long as I don’t lose a finger or an eye.
I am definitely hoping parts fall off when I repot it. What’s the endgame?
The next pot I buy for it will be ginormous and able to shatter with a hammer.
some of my plants, amd of course my fish! There is an Ivy in there, it is thriving, including the rest of the plant that isn’t in the tank. Which is super cool.
It lived in my front window for most of the last 2.5 years. Sun can be a bit strong so that’s the cause of the yellowing. The best (and really only) spot for indoor plants is under my kitchen skylight. It’s perfect. I had other plants up there for a long time, and they did very well for a year or so, but I did a lot of stir-frying back then and even with the vent they got caked in cooking oil over time. Just kinda left ‘em. I sure as heck wasn’t gonna get up there and move them every day to cook.
Pretty much everything I cook these days is roasted, so airborne oil is no longer a factor.
