I’m surprised I was able to get it done so fast…I know a good bit, but don’t have many tools and don’t consider myself particularly handy. There was plenty of cursing at inanimate objects, as my father taught me is the way when doing manual labor. It makes the screws screw better and the wood cut easier. Its true.
Only like $30 for the supplies too and minimal waste. Well worth it, quite pleased with myself.

I’ve already seen him out there on my fence behind the greenhouse scoping other ways in. The only 2 I can think of are 1. he chews through the solex (the material I lined my greenhouse with…which would suck because it’s expensive and there’s no way to mend it), or 2. He gets onto the roof and squeezes through one of the seams between two pieces of solex. When it’s super hot like this, it shrinks/expands throughout the day and bubbles at the seams on the roof. He could theoretically get in that way if he’s clever enough, but I’m not sure if he can get up there. It’s steep and it’s a slick material. Climbing is what they’re best at though so probably. We’ll see. Hopefully he can’t read and doesn’t see this.
I spray the solex edges and greenhouse foundation with vinegar on a regular basis too, so hopefully that prevents the first scenario.
It’s so odd that he fucks off for weeks at a time, then comes back and is consistently lurking for a week. I know it’s the same one too. He knows exactly where the spineless plants are and goes straight for them. I also never had a problem with squirrels (or any plant damage from pests, short of a few lizard nibbles and one feral cat early on) for 3 years until now.

I wonder if you could spray something stronger or add like pepper or something that would deter the sneaky bugger. I know @Dazercat has had some issues with one eating his plants too and that fucker is not even deterred by hot peppers or cayenne LOL
i do hope your solex stays in tact and this guy finds easier nibbles elsewhere.
Yeah this is part of why I opted for building a barrier. From what I have read and understand, it is the closest thing to a guarantee of effectiveness that you can get. Even then, they may find a way.
Essential oils, capsaicin, coffee grounds, deterrent granules, even sonic noise-makers etc all only work for a short time - if they work at all. They either don’t care to begin with, or they get used to it in time. May even depend on the individual squirrel, who knows.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

My best suggestion if he persists trying to get in and chewing up the enclosure itself is if you’re at all inclined, to get a bird feeder. Hang it 5 ft off the ground. Squirrel Buster bird feeder with a baffle above it. Squirrels love spending their time eating the dropped bird seed off the ground. It could be a distraction. Then it’s also an attractor getting him/them to hang around more.
It’s amazing to me that @Dazercat has what would seem like the dream garden area, enclosed patio, nice beds, raised beds, and then has the devastation he does.
I have devastation from deer. Even on deer resistant plants and plants that once upon a time ( My Thyme ) they never touched. They ate a cactus plant that they used to just eat the blooms, they ate it to the ground. 
I encourage this by now ‘only’ giving them the odd apples or carrots and kitchen vegetable scraps. Yes I have a refrigerator full of apples but dole them out ( somewhat) sparingly. I have taught them that I might be a source of food. I used to feed more regularly. I stopped
In years past I had a beautiful enclosed Potager. Flowers, vegetables, herbs. The nemesis was cut ants who continued to eat the antique roses, ate all the okra one night, etcetera etcetera. Would demolish zucchini plants etc. They can have tunnels that are a mile long, go under creeks and mounds that are huge. I had one that was 20x 20 and another that a truck fell into at the highway. I tried to do the right thing organically and probably poisoned myself with orange oil. Doing it again I would do it different
And the squirrels who ate a lot of the tomatoes. I could have caged the whole top .. I did relocate some of them.
The struggle is real. You’ve done an excellent job with your door. I hope it frustrates them enough that they leave the premises.
The unfortunate thing is that he/she is otherwise totally welcome, like all the other animals I get. Today I saw it having a drink/bath in the water from my orange tree irrigation line, which is about 25ft from the greenhouse. I’m glad I can help it, along with the birds and lizards, by providing a consistent water source.
He just needs to stay tf out of my greenhouse 
Progress of my obregonia denegrii over the 4 years I’ve had it. Looked like shit in 2023! I can’t recall exactly but I think it went through an extended period of repot stress. What a turnaround, that thing was looking dead.

Me and my wife pretty much do it all. It was four hours work today, I did all the weeding and pathways and tidying.
Is pretty though. And we don’t have a garden, so…

It’s repotting time for a few lucky fellows around here. Sideshow Mel is walking out of his pot and this pokey fellow is out of control. Pardon the dust I try not to touch him although the cats love to rub their faces on the leaves. I can’t touch this guy without gloves, any repotting advice T?

home bargains selling of these Orchids at 50P so i repotted them and hopefully flowers next year Coleus cuttings coming onStill no attempt. I haven’t made it to the plant store for pots or anywhere for the needed chainmail gloves although rather than buying anything I might just use oven mits. 
I think I’ll tip it out onto a tarp on the floor and go from there.

I was going to suggest just getting under it as much as you can, so as many of the leaves as possible are above where you are grabbing it. Should be able to kinda gently jiggle it loose from there. can even two-hand it and just kind of shake it gently until it pops out.
I have to take this approach with my dyckia. I still avoid repotting it as long as possible because it suuuuuuucks. I think last time I ended up just breaking the pot with a hammer. Yours isn’t mean like this one so it will hopefully be an easier experience for you!
