I kinda promised these, so here we are! Went on a boat ride today with friends who are visiting me for few nights.
Here’s some pictures of the West Coast archipelago.

Had some Tom H’s coffee in Fargo, ND a couple months ago. Pretty decent tasting.
You’re looking solid my friend! Keep being you.
Not sure if anyone has been to Chicago or is familiar with this.
Yesterday, I had my staff outing in downtown and had spare time to walk around and explore since I got there early. I rarely get to do this because after work I rush back home to my dog. And on days off, I’m taking care of things at home or visiting my elderly parents and helping them out with things.
ANYWAYS, downtown Chicago has a thing called the “Pedway System”. It’s a series of underground tunnels that pedestrians can walk through and links them to several different buildings in downtown. I’ve taken it before from the Blue Line train station to report for jury duty
at the Daley Center. ![]()
Here are some pictures I took yesterday. They are not the best. My phone keeps acting up so I was just trying to snap quick pictures before my phone froze up on me.
Checked out the Block 37 mall that I accessed through the Pedway and got out on Randolph street and saw a market. ![]()
If you like coffee, do yourself a favour and find an Ethiopian shop.
Thank you, that’s nice of you to say….with your help, I’m doing what we do here.
Be well friend.
That is so cool!
That is pretty cool. Only been to Chicago once a couple of years ago. Thankfully I was sober. I just loved the architectural boat tour I took on the Chicago River? Really cool town. Would like to go back. Not in winter though. No thank you. Had my first real deep dish pizza too. It was great!
I always recommend the architectural boat tour to people! ![]()
I’ve done it twice myself and learned something new each time.
It’s always good to do the touristy stuff first to get that all out of the way. Then if people return, they can explore the actual neighborhoods. The city is so massive and each neighborhood is rich with it’s own little culture. I grew up in one of the Mexican neighborhoods. ![]()
