We are getting some snow. :upside_down_face: Some years ago I took my snowshoes to work but here it won’t be possible as I have to cross the city on my way to work and everything is ploughed and tons of salt everywhere.

We have an Amber warning of snow today! Yesterday I walked thru the cemetery next to the canal and the canal was frozen over, the sheets of ice had cracked and they were honestly over two inches thick! It’s been quite a while since I’ve seen such frost and deep ice.

I can remember ice skating on frozen lakes when I was young. Loooooong time ago.

I somehow love that the Parkdale neighborhood of Toronto is still a little gritty

New spot.. It’s cool being able to see the stars at night and listening to all the animals. Surrounded by a lot of woods.. I want to get a telescope and a motion camera for animals. I did buy a machete because they are very useful for yardwork and also might be protection one day. It was funny walking back to the car after that purchase..

Now I’m in very North Florida pretty much Georgia. I’ll definitely take some photos next time I’m out driving.

And also want to build a mini ramp for skateboarding in the woods!!

Resting quietly in the upper-left corner of our beloved Illinois, The drift less area, where the hills sing like hymns and the great Mississippi flows as a living parable, steady, sure, and ever onward. Here, in what some might call the forsaken middle of nowhere, beats a heart (my humble heart) filled with purpose, service, and the quiet assurance that God’s work is never done in vain. ODAAT
