I have been on here before a few years ago and tbought i could just ‘moderate’ my drinking… WRONG!!
so, I’m 10 days sober now and beginning to feel the benefits, as well as coming to terms with the fact i cant moderate (thats why I’m here) .
To help my journey and keep me on the right path, i was wondering if any of you guys know of any good sobriety podcasts that i can listen to when i commute to and from work.
Searched alot of pod casts the last few months as ive been asked to share on some but im afraid not my cup of tea but im sure in early sobriety they will help someone wish you well
So I’m not really a podcast person. But I feel this one is appropriate here.
Lucy Hale is doing a interview about her addiction, sobriety, eating disorders and people pleasing. She goes into how everything is connected for her.
I was always the same way.
If you need to search it’s the Diary of a CEO podcast
I like her so it was easy for me to watch.
But I also like to hear people tell their story. Especially someone who has the platform to help others who are struggling
Im a avid podcast listener was curious to what you all like to listen to? Can be about sobriety or anything else! What do you look for in a podcast that you’re listening to? You just like the host? The material they discuss is interesting? I follow a few sober ones but they get pretty bland after awhile honestly. Recommendations for new podcasts to explore is greatly appreciated! My top 5 are=
Joe Rogan experience
Jocko Willink
Cameron Hanes
Black Rifle Coffee
Legion of Skanks
Sasquatch Chronicles is a really, really good one for anyone into that topic. Nothing but eye witness testimonies, no fluff or unnecessary hype etc. About 10% episodes also go into other cryptids and even aliens. Easily one of my favorites to listen to if you like hearing people’s stories.
