Ooh new pet thread! Got some catching up to do!

Yesterday we said goodbye to our plucky little Cluck Norris. I’m not sure I’d go so far to say I’ve got a feeling of grief, but definite sadness and lots of gratitude towards that fluffy little butt of hers. We got the chicks when I was going through a pretty dark time and I felt, on more than one occasion, they saved my life.

She’s in Valhalla now

Thank you! Yes I did actually. Her name is Birdie. Not after a bird lol but she’s originally from Texas and I’m from MN and I looked up southern girl names and Birdie was on the list and I loved that name for her

My grandcat Boo, rescued my daughter and has been an integral part of her recovery from Heroin.
She has 12 years clean. And my inspiration. Miracles do happen.
