My little miss is getting older, slowing down in some ways but still like a puppy sometimes! She will be 12 in October. I feel like im starting to grieve now even before she dies. It could be that I got blindsided when her brother died so quickly. So I just have to enjoy her company while she is here. I hate to put her through a move at this age but I think she will be happy wherever we are. I just love this photo, her paw in her lip that way

Getting back from walking these guys.
They have gotten to where they want a walk everyday. Haley is somewhere around 11-12 and Fox around 10-11. They could be older, since they came from the streets I’m just guesstimating here based on what the first vet aged them at. So I’m wondering how will I know if it’s too much? We only do 1.5-2 miles but I don’t want them to get overexerted from going everyday.

That’s not much. Your dogs look pretty good and healthy. We never miss a walk. Can’t even say the word around here. Our vet said Minnie would let us know if we were over doing it on her walk. We worry about her. Almost 17 now arthritis dementia etc…… She’ll stop. They will give you a signal. We get her out early before it gets too warm. I’d worry more about the heat. And we pack water. We use a handy drink. Just Google handy drink at Amazon of course. They don’t always take a drink. But as the summer goes on they eventually get use to it and they start drinking out of it.

Oh my @RosaCanDo i know that feeling of loving our pets so much we get sad at the thought of them being gone!
Just tonight i jokingly asked my husband if we could stuff Boscoe when he dies so I could still cuddle him. Hubby looked at me like i was crazy. Anyways…i can relate. Just gotta love and spoil them to the fullest
