Ya they’re still out. All at my house. Here’s an old pic with a little snow a couple of weeks ago.

You might have seen it a couple of weeks back. I’ll bring my phone tomorrow when I feed them. Most of the times they aren’t afraid of me at all.

I miss my birdfeeders :pensive: even on the days where I had to continually chase the squirrels off. I could watch it from my old home office. I put up a squirrel baffle, but I had to MacGuyver it on there so occassionally they’d figure out a way around it.

We got so many different birds in the backyard and were surrounded by forest. Used to love the cardinals and goldfinches, and especially the jays. The bluejays we had were HUGE. Didn’t get orioles often, but it was a treat when they did show up. Such striking colors.

Someday I will have a home again. I miss it.

Think you got a little less snow than us here south of the city. Chief is all bent out of shape due to no running today!

That’s a nice set up you got there. You put my little bird feeder to shame. Really cool. I guess you are getting old.:rofl::rofl:. When we’re playing with the bird feeders we’re just just a step or 2 from BINGO at the assisted living home :joy::joy:

I love being able to watch them all day. We get them year round. I can’t tell you how many have flown into to the windows :woman_facepalming:t3: poor things! And omg the squirrels :chipmunk: haha :joy: they have grown on me. I actually had names for a few of them this summer. And ya we just got an inch or so. My boy chief he’s the best! Honestly so photogenic. :paw_prints:

That’s so beautiful. My cousins use to have a place in Barre. They put Highway 89 through his back yard. :scream: well they had plenty of acres. But you know what I mean. I use to fish for trout in the morning in their pond and my Godmother would fry them up for breakfast. Great memories of VT.

Barre is nice, its about 90 min drive from me. Though there is a local rivalry - Barre is the granite center for the state while I’m in the Marble Valley!! Sounds like great memories at your family’s place. The trout still are tasty for breakfast and ice fishing season started Jan 15!

Very cool! What camera do you use for timelapse photography? I have been wanting to try astrophotography but I believe I shall wait until it’s warms up to experiment with that!

Bye for now…
