I absolutely agree with all this. I have tried to quit by myself because of how ashamed I feel of people knowing I am an alcoholic. Still acknowledging it give me a bitter taste in my mouth but it’s my reality and I have to accept it. I am so happy to have found a support system like this community, I realized I have been missing out for so long! I appreciate for all the support you guys are showing me and I’m so excited that you guys will be an important part in becoming the best version of myself
