Random GREAT advice

My therapist had a saying

YET means you’re eligible too,

It was his response to people and me who thought we were beyond simple things that keep our lives together and kinda kick you down a notch

That person on their 6th reset, you can be there too, the person who lost their job, and are struggling, you can be there too.

It was a good way to remind us to be humble, like anyone we all one step away from fucking up

I like “there go I but for the grace of God” for these thoughts. It is one of the times that I throw around the big G’s name.

Restraint of pen, tongue and send.

If it’s not working then try doing it the way your wife told you to do it in the first place.

Remember that the “greener grass” on the other side of the fence may come with a higher “water bill” that you may or may not be within your desire or willingness to pay, and “fertilizer” underneath that might not be so pleasant when you’re up close. Better to focus on your own lawn and how you can improve it rather than coveting that of your neighbor’s that you only see from its best vantage point.

Be decisive. Right or wrong, make a decision.

The road of life is paved with flat squirrels who couldn’t make a decision.

That reminds me of:

“A wrong decision is better than indecision.”

My old marketing manager would say this all the time. He would rather us make the wrong decision than no decision at all, because right or wrong, we would learn from it and that would make us smarter; no decision offers no learnings.
