Relapse prevention ? How?

I drunk 6 times in 6 weeks
Haven’t drink that much in 1 year
I feel anxious and took pills to sleep but can’t sleep and hard to relax
I feel shit and want to cry
I’m so tired

Maybe try a 12step program? Might help with the drink problem, the feelings your describing are exactly the reasons why i dont want to drink, sobriety is a better way for me to handle life. You can slowly make a change just 1day at a time refrain from alcohol.

I use to drink 7 days out of a week not just light drinking i was a functioning drunk, i know very well what the symptoms of detoxing are like. Its a rough thing to put the body through but it is possible to make it out and be happy, healthy an alive
