Revealing the dark world of the Porn Industry - Articles May Be Triggering

Theres a lot of speculation and conspiracy put there. I believe a lot of those. I won’t specifically voice them out loud, but let’s just say as an example that the drug companies pay big bucks to insurance companies to keep people sick. Insurance companies have an non-understandable vendetta against holistic health care. An example of how there are many power plays in this world that are hidden right beneath our very noses.

Funny. I’ve been going on and on about the clowns and everyone here already knows. I’m not going to say much but it is interesting how the vast majority of us on here are not clowns. My short time I’d say 99% but that doesn’t mean the 1% are getting high off their own supply, it can be they are just here to spy. They do that a lot. And when I say clowns I am talking about people with dark energy and not a religion or group of people. But yes, porn is bad and the girls involved are usually runaways. And it all over in movies and popular culture for a reason. Just like drugs. Not so much gambling but the sports industry is one big gambling commercial. The best way to quit porn would be to go out a lot in public. And cold showers

A simplistic way of seeing things. Without having the addiction, it would be difficult for one to grasp the hold this addiction has on people. Cold showers is like saying an alcoholic should just drink a glass of water instead.

Water does help alcoholics a little. Little things add up but I understand what you are saying. Good news is I am working on something that will help us all. Whatever addiction. I finally cracked the science behind it this morning before I took. Thought about the philosophy or psychological part a few minutes ago after I woke up but remembered that I cracked that a few months or weeks ago. This is going to do it. I’ll write the fucking book and finally get revenge on those fucking clowns. Disarming those motherless fucks and cleaning up their mess.

Instead of trying to build a bigger, better mousetrap, you might be better served by following an established method with a proven track record, like AA, or SMART. Just saying.

Welcome back! Havent seen you around much. I’ve been thinking about you and hoping you were okay. How are you?

The article is completely real unfortunately. Sadly women are used and abused in the industry, and tossed when they’ve become “undesirable”. It’s wrong and foul.

I’m going to have to agree with @Yoda-Stevie on this one. There’s no miracle pill to curing addiction of any kind. It requires renetworking out brain’s synapses and conditioning ourselves to a new normal. Breaking the bonds of addiction is quite literal from a neurophysiology standpoint.

I respect your opinion though. Rambling is what I do best! It makes me incredibly sad to think of all the individuals that are chewed up and spit out by the sex industry.

Maybe there is an ethical way of consuming pornography. That certainly would be in line with the flavor of the thread here (though I still wouldn’t endorse it, of course!).

I think that healthy sex should be utilized between people who love each other (from a completely secular stand point). I also believe that sex should be reserved for 1 lifelong, committed relationship (from a religious/moral stand point). I would go in to the reasoning, but we can save it for another time.

I’m glad you’re back @BobIsGone. We butted heads at the beginning, but now I actually value you as a friend on here and hope you’ll stick around more.

Makes sense. I have regretted decisions I’ve made in the past, but recognize how they have shaped me. I feel that a lot of the self inflicted struggles I’ve gone through have made me into a much more caring and understanding individual.

I could not agree more

The modern porn industry is what happens when the human sex drive is exploited for commercial gain on a global scale. It is driven not by what is good for people, but the desire to make a profit. It’s destructive, just like so many other examples of market failure, or the unintended negative consequences of putting money and profit above everything else. Just some thoughts to add to the mix. If this is offensive, just let me know, and I will delete the comment.

No. I think it’s appropriate. I’m looking at the industry in this thread, not necessarily speaking of addiction.

I truly believe that history repeats itself. If we become so obsessed with self gratification, greed and power, how are we any different than ancient Rome before its fall? Their sex parties, gladiator battles and such contributed heavily to their crumble within. We’re no different with the pornography industry, the sheer amount of types of entertainment (sports, video games, movies, etc), and such it’s not wonder our society isnt crumbling faster than old Rome.

One cannot overlook the fact that the porn industry is highly correlated with sex trafficking. It’s really sad but true.

I’m going to have to look at this some time. Is it a broadcast or something? Journalist story?

It’s an Eyewitness News special presentation.

And I’ve got A Lot more of these.
I found my collection of video IDs on sex trafficking, porn industry documentaries, and personal stories. Very sobering to watch.

Politicians are often puppets of the people who pay their wages. Who knows, maybe she totally had plans to do things like that but found our that the red light district pays her a lot of money.
