Ha! I’m not quite there but I was pleasantly surprised. I definitely was expecting to be slower. But, thanks! ![]()
Gonna give this once a week thing a whirl for awhile.
Dropping 5 this morning ![]()

This was super solid. I had to tell my mind to shut up about walk breaks because the wind was rough the first 2 miles.
Soooo this happened ![]()

Oh my… 84 laps!? I’d go crazy! Well, that or the 100 miles.
I’d definitely go crazy!! I can’t even make myself do laps around the track
but I have been using the circle on my long runs recently and do multiple laps around that but no way I could do 84!
Super cold this morning. At no point did I feel warmed up. And it didn’t feel like an easy run but it got done and the 5K sunday streak is still going. Next month it will be a whole year of running at least a 5k every sunday
Wonderful commitment!
That’s awesome! A year of doing anything weekly is hard to do!
How many miles does Runna have you typically doing now a week? And what was your type of plan/goal for Runna?
I’m working a 10 mile - 12 week plan. I’m mostly just trying to build back up distance/ endurance. This week was only 15 miles. This coming week is 22 miles and the most in the plan is 26. It sent me a message saying I should increase my weekly mileage but I’m good with where it’s at currently
Intervals today. I am trying to trust the program as I enter into week 5. I have a hard time believing I can do 10 miles at 10:55 a mile. Just doing the little intervals today was hard. My biggest problem is breathing
Monday Run Day
2.4 miles on the treadmill. Nice and easy. Felt good.
Will you be running the race or getting the shoes? or both?!
@Cjp That’s my question too!
I’m not a big Disney person but those races look awesome!
@Runningfree @Gorden i just want the cute shoes lol
Lacking motivation for long runs but did some variations on the tread this morning. No clue how you can do a zone 2 run @poppyfairy i can only hit zone 2 if i run and then walk
According to Garmin my zone 2 is between 115-135. ChatGpt told me to keep my HR under 140 and surprisingly this is doable for me (135 not). If I run very slow I’m usually 135-140. First it felt weird to run so slow (not that I’m super fast, it’s just not my “natural” tempo) but I actually like it now. Like @Gorden said, it feels like a different sport
Honestly I also thought it’s not possible for me to stay in zone 2 but you just have to slooooow down, take it really easy. Plus, maybe consult your zones with ChatGpt/Google, Garmin is a bit to strict maybe ![]()
