Sleep was still not good, and I woke up around 6:30 AM. Planning to go to the grocery store to buy some meat. Waiting for my mom to finish cooking breakfast. No other plans for today—just spending time at home with my computer.
Agree, boredom is one of the main reasons people go back to drinking. Unless you find something satisfying to fill your time with, besides meetings and working on your sobriety, a relapse is almost programmed…
I hope you really did call the numbers Reese found you and I hope you start actually start planning out days for yourself that will help you stay sober and keep busy. But most of all I hope you actually start to put 1/4 of the effort into your sobriety that others here have put into trying to help you and following through with even one of the many things you’ve said you’d do. I’ve already said it but I’ll say it again. There are lots of people here who can and will support you but you got to do your part . We can’t do it for you.
We are here for support and community. We are each responsible for our selves and our sobriety; as well as how we interact with other members and suggestions shared.
Please be mindful that what begins as geniune concern for another member and wanting to support, can become less healthy or helpful over time, and could be perceived as badgering.
Sometimes we may need to take a break and detach from a thread if it is triggering us.
Please also be aware of cultural, societal and language differences; as we are a global forum with members from different countries.
I woke up at 6:30 AM and walked my 3-year-old female Labrador, Daizy. She felt tired after walking for 20 minutes. These days, I have noticed that she is gaining weight, so I decided to take her for a short walk every morning when my day starts.
Her treats have run out, so I need to go to the pet shop to buy some for her.
My sleep wasn’t great yesterday. I fell asleep around 2:30 AM, but hopefully, within a few days, my sleep cycle will get back to normal.
I’ll share more updates later. Hope you all are doing well!
Today, I went to a rehab center and met with a doctor. The doctor advised me to get admitted there for 21 days, but I told them that I would come back with my colleague or cousin, who will stay with me during that time.
The doctor prescribed some medicines and asked me to return in 7 days for blood tests. I know that medicines alone won’t make me sober—I have to put in the effort myself.
Yes i talked to my uncle about 21 days that they need someone to stay with me. My uncle agreed for that
Let me plan for it. This time my side last chance.
