I took this tat while I was 5 yrs sober. Now it’s time to live again with the sXe vibes. Never give up!

Yes it is, my man. Now it’s time to get back in action. Enough relapses, sobriety comes first in everything.

First knee cap I got done a couple years back, the smile now part of a “smile now, cry later” duo. Quite painful, I’d say a 8/10 pain scale, not looking forward to the other side to be completely honest

This image was a popular visual guide for physicians to treat ailments and was used in printed books from the 15th-17th centuries. The “Wound Man” is meant to evoke sympathy from the viewer, standing defiantly despite his injuries.

This version is from Hans von Gersdorff’s Feldtbuch der Wundartzney (Strasburg, 1519)

9 total hours to complete, 7/10 pain scale.

The tattoo artist who did this work a few years back, a good friend from high school, died last year. It’s good to have a reminder of him while he was happy and healthy, and of the dangers of drinking.

My calf sleeve I got done over the course of a year. I plan to go further up my thigh now that I can see bare skin in shorts and it bugs me lol
