Thank you! I enjoyed the process minus the knee cap and ditch haha but I’m excited to go further up once I have the spare cash!
My shin and knee cap were some of the most painful places to get worked on, and most of it is just line work! I commend you for how complete your pieces are. I’ve gone down more of the patchwork road, but primarily I try to stick to the American Traditional theme as well, it’s quite pleasing!
I love American traditional as well. When I got this done I wanted as much skin covered as possible but sitting in that tattoo parlor watching what other customers came in with or got really made me like the patchwork style even more. I think thats the route I’ll go for my other leg. I also like the idea that you can take it at your own pace with patchwork and it doesn’t look “unfinished” in between sessions.
I definitely understand this feeling!
I really enjoy both styles, I’m looking forward to filling up all my empty spots eventually, hoping it’ll look like a combination of the two styles! We shall see
not looking forward to the ditch or upper thighs though
I love the technique they used. Looks like blended charcoal pencil
Japanese with a twist? I like it! ![]()
Thank you!!!
Beautiful. Is this a new one? @Scorpn

Love that style of writing too! Glad u did something for urself my friend
I got this today
It’s a recreation of this picture I drew when I was trying not to SH. I have always thought it was beautiful, and it was a successful day of not hurting myself. I’ve thought about that flower a million times since then.
Beautiful! ![]()
Cool. Is that a lotus?
The one I drew was just a generic one, but the one the artist drew was a dahlia. When I googled the name to see if that type of flower resonated with me, and this is what it said. ![]()
Love love love it and what a beautiful tribute to your strength in abstaining from sh
@BriCrowe My newest piece! I actually posted this idea on the art thread a couple weeks ago. I don’t always follow through with the designs I make, but this time I did!
This one only took 45 minutes from start to finish, it’s on my upper right side of my right thigh and I’d say it was a 3/10 on the pain scale! This is the third piece this particular artist has done for me (the flower beneath this one is another of his) and I can’t wait to go back to get more work done by him!
I love it, Alex!
