I was describing this type of tree (it used the light bright refills) to someone the other day that i had as a kid and they had no clue what I was talking about. LOL
It’s got a 15 watt night light in the base and plastic colored “lights”. I got it from my great grandmother - this was her only Xmas tree that I can recall. It’s special!
I got to paint my own at a ceramics place a couple years ago. Definitely reminds me of being at my grandma’s.
First tree as an adult. I’ve never been a big holiday guy, but it would seem this season,nim digging it. Tree is up on a plyo box as a deterrent for the cats and dog.
This was my mom’s tree and she gave it to us because she wanted a smaller tree. I love it because it reminds us of her. 
Our kitty loves sleeping under the tree. Atleast she’s not climbing the tree like we thought she would! 
It’s her first Christmas.

He really so chuffed, they made them at school. I’ve still got him convinced that his naughty elf keeps coming alive and doing naughty things bless him. What I’d do to have that innocence and imagination again xx
