Maybe I will get split screen… As you know I am limited on tv viewing so enjoy what I can. Already got a text from hubby asking if I am watching football. If he is chilling somewhere for dinner watching at least we can have fun texting each other… I am having a super day and always appreciate the CALM!

In my old life so long ago (different hubby) his family from Oklahoma. I even have been on the OU’s football field. Even grabbed a piece of the artificial turf… I dreaded College Football Game Days when OU lost and loss to Texas Longhorns was a downer for weeks…

We saw Sam Bradford there.
Took our son for a campus tour and they took us to a game. Wifey’s dad went there.
Sonny picked the beach UCSB. But I was surprised how pretty the campus was. It was really nice.

We were there 4 days one April and rained every day. But where we were was beyond green. First time to see all rest areas on Free ways and Toll Roads in the center of the road… We stayed in a town that just got the first blinking red stop light in town. Being from California I had a bit of a culture shock at the time. Although the local high school (brand new building) found a Meth Lab in operation and the lady down the street had twins. I think this was early Ninety’s if I remember correctly.

I was the dad at soccer summer camp. Tucker was on my son’s soccer team. Big pain the ass. Ball hog. Didn’t know he was shanking them back then to get into the NFL. He does have a cannon for a foot. I do wish him well. But fuck them if you know what I mean

World Series MLB tonight. I must root for Yankees as An American League Fan. Just some trivia for some one who gives a sh&t. Annual Combined Salaries for both teams playing tonight is $650 Million. Hard to say the one with the most money will win. Play Ball.

Don’t really care for the Yankees and haaaaate the Dodgers.
HOWEVER - both teams have some very likable players, and there’s no disputing they are the two best squads this year. As a baseball fan above being a fan of any team, I’m really looking forward to it.
Out of the two, think I’m with you on rooting for NYY.

Watching this game while others around me have had between 2 and 6 drinks reminds me how I used to be… Keen to stay on in the pub and drink more even after the match is finished, completely writing off the rest of the day and possibly the next as well. What a waste.
