Those were the days though. Loved that rivalry. The Lakers always made it look so easy. But my Celtics were like the blue collar workers just showing up and doing their job. I cannot count the number of heart attacks they gave me back then.

Lots of amazing talent out there this year. It will be really fun to watch. If only they could all stay healthy. Teams like Denver being in competition and the Nets? And the Heat and The Pelicans and the Sixers. I wish the season wasn’t so dang long and everyone stayed healthy. That would be something to see.

Yeah we’ll have a nice xmas for ourselves. I’ll be getting him some beef marrow bones or organ meat from the grocery. It’s dirt cheap since nobody buys it, and he loves that stuff.
The xmas day nba lineup is always a nice tradition, although I prefer it when they have us against the Knicks or even better the Lakers. We played the Nets last night in preseason and got crushed. Hopefully we fare better next week.
I LOVE that there is football on saturdays for the next 2 weeks starting today, as well as a game on xmas day.

Oh thanks for the tip. Didn’t know about football Saturday. Up here in the mountains my cable company sucks. All I get is the AZ games and maybe one other. 
And my location is not available for NFL league pass. I tried CBS all access but they show the game my local CBS station is playing so that’s useless. I’ll check today and see. I like it better when I’m in Cali and the games start at 10 am.

Good game so far. Me and wifey liking the Bills. I thought she might still like Denver. She was always a Payton Manning fan and I was always a Brady fan back in those days. Made for some difficult Sundays

We saw Broncos vs Pats in Denver a few years ago when Manning was playing. Broncos killed us. It is so true what they say about the noise at mile high. You cannot hear shit. It’s really a huge advantage. I’ve never heard so much noise. Not to mention the altitude.

I can’t say I’ve seen footage of his son. Thanks for sharing that @Dazercat . I too enjoy a good generational sports story. I played so much of tiger woods video games over the years it’s not even funny. Strangely I think it actually helped my real life game.
