Couple of good games on opening night tonight. Maybe I’ll have a chance to check in on some of them. Can’t wait to see KD. Just realized He’s playing his former team.
I agree the warriors and nets game could be pretty good
@Dazercat thanks buddy about the gratitude thing. Trying to finish watching this nba battle of LA before bed but it’s after midnight here and I’m fading Lol
Ya it’s nice living out west. Saw that the Nets were kicking ass and didn’t end up watching it. Saw a lot of the second game. I have to admit I loved the ring ceremony. Especially the players children. They were so cute.
I really wanted to see that LAC/LAL game. Curse this eastern time zone. Don’t they know I have a bed time?
In regards to the earlier game…GS is either really bad again, or the Nets are really good…or a bit of both. But it’s obvious from last year and this first game this year that GS is in trouble with no Klay and no Draymond.
However, I don’t like Boston’s chances against the Nets on xmas…we have no bench whatsoever. Gotta play the Bucks tonight.
Bummer about Clay. Poor bastard. He’s one of my all time favorite players. Just comes in and does his job. Great job! No big fan fare. Like he’s the blue collar guy. That’s just there. Didn’t know about Green.
Haven’t read up to much on the Celtics lately. I better catch up. With only about 6-8 months left of the season
I don’t think I’ve watched opening night since the Haywood injury. That was the second worst injury I’ve ever seen.
A healthy KD and Irving gonna put a whole new look on the East.
Love living out west
Honestly I’m a huge KC chiefs fan, since around 93, growing up I became a huge Joe Montana fan and almost became a 9ers fan boy until they traded him, Magic Joe requested KC, and I went with him.
For me seeing them finally winning the super bowl was amazing, plus no matter where Andy Reid coached, that was the only stamp missing from his HOF career I wanted to see him win one.
However I tend to watch other teams as well, recently it’s been the Redskins, correction the name redacted Washington Football Team, because I’m in NOVA, plus seeing what Alex Smith went through only to overcome it and make a comeback is a miracle story in itself
Love watching Mahomes. Actually there’s a lot of great young quarterbacks out there that are very exciting. Baker Mayfield. Kyler Murray. Lamar Jackson to name a few. Hard to be a Chiefs fan when your a Raiders fan though
I can respect that, kinda disappointed though I thought da raiduhs (in typical Al Davis accent) RIP. Were gonna fare better this year they started hot, but fizzled fast.
Being from Pa ny kids are philly fans, so I hear all about the shitshow they are running, but I think Wentz’s shelf life has expired it’s time to see what Hurts can do, he’s of that new sexy QB prototype, big arm, mobile, and moldable
Really enjoyed watching Hurts the other week beating the Saints. What’s he like 6’5” ? He’s a beast. Yes another young gun up and coming.
I’m looking forward to a Chiefs and Bills Afc Championship game or thats the hope. I really think its gonna happen and whoever wins most likely wins the Superbowl that’s my humble take
Thanks I forgot it was on.
That’s how we roll. My boys have been doin it the hard way all my life
I never seen such a high off the glass shot of a 3 like that one.
Long season ahead.
Oh man it’ll be the 90s all over again two future HOF QBs duking it out in the championship game,
ahh nostalgia of the 90s the Bills were great and the Blue jays and the Raptors came out, I was a teenager and could still run around and play those sports Lol
I’m still salty about the baseball strike too, the Expos had one of the best teams that year to ever field a MLB game,
they had a great team should of been another title for a Canadian team
They had the best odds of winning a world series that year,
I mean I kinda follow the nationals now, but not like I did back then
Want to brag about my little nephew Simon for a moment. Het started rowing about ten years ago. It turned out he had some talent and has dreamed one dream since which is to win gold in the Olympics. Totally dedicated to this dream and still on course. Now a member of the Holland8 team that’s trying to emulate the Dutch rowers that won gold in Atlanta 1996. Still has to do his senior year at the University of Washington. For now training with the Dutch team, yesterday he set a world record on the RP3, a type of indoor rowing machine. He might be addicted to sports. At the same time he is my example of dedication, purpose and spirit. Will have Christmas Dinner with him tonight at my sisters’. Go Dogs, Go Simon!
That’s awesome. Fun fact I went to the Olympics in Atlanta in '96 as a spectator but was still really cool. Go Simon. Btw your “little” nephew looks pretty big. A world record what an achievement. Enjoy your dinner at your sisters.
