Love Rob Lowe

Just saw Russell Brand video and I so loved it … he’s got so many more but this one spoke to me.

Henry Rollins. That guy’s done a lot: Lead singer with Black Flag, a writer, poet, spoken word artist, owns his own publishing company, even did a little acting here and there, and a great story teller. He’s very outspoken against alcohol and drugs, also.

Oh yeah, and a radio host, too!

Henry Rollins is super cool guy - loved him in SOA and other shows / movies

I’m actually in awe of the celebs / people that are just naturally turned off by alcohol/ cigs/ drugs… I would love to know how that feels – maybe one day.

His books are very entertaining reads, like “Black Coffee Blues”, “Get in the Van”, “Do I Come Here Often?”, a bunch of cool stuff.

Also love this and how he is overcoming addiction. I know he relapsed recently, but is back on track.

Stevie Ray Vaughn. Not sure how long he had been sober before he got killed, but I do know he had struggled with alcohol in his past and overcame it successfully.

I did not know he recently relapsed. Sad. But I do remember one of his podcast episodes (first one??) talking about his big book having multiple dates crossed out all representing his “day one” and I could SO relate to that!!! I love it when celebrities are honest like that.

Strangely enough I just found out that he had a podcast called armchair expert, while I was driving into work listening to recovery happy hour. Gonna listen to it from the first episode.

Yeah he came out pretty much right away and owned his relapse, and talked about how him and his family are working through it

I heard a joke one time that said,
Snoop smoked so much hemp, that he once shit a rope.
If he can get sober we can all get sober. :love_you_gesture:

Oh I love this. Thanks. He’s always been one of my faves. It was hard to find the date this aired. 1974.
