Unfortunately due to those unpaid traffic tickets Chief has, the DMV is the LAST place he can show that mug of his.

Same here! The gym has helped so much in my sobriety journey. No matter how much do you dont wanna go, it always makes me feel so much better. I went from closing out the bars to closing out the gym, what a contrast

sobriety is Soo hard right now, somewhere out there is a bottle of loneliness and a couple of shots of misery with my name on it, I’m just not going into a bar to meet it.

that’s why we only stay sober today, tommorow you can do whatever you want but not today. It does get easier once you get honest with yourself, I’ve been sober nearly 10 months and it’s been great but now I’ve got things going on in my life and it shows me exactly what I am. The first sign of trouble and I need a drink, only an alcoholic thinks like this and that’s when I have to start doing all the things that kept me sober on day one. Your doing great BTW

Day 300…had an adult day date with the husband. We went to the casino. Neither of us drank and we had a great time! It’s been 3/4 years since we had a DATE. 7 hours both of us away from our son (which is hard because he is special needs). I’ve dug really deep the last year and have been solely focused on what is best for me. This pic… one year apart tells the tale. First pic the shirt says LAZY… second pic it says HUSTLE… I am no longer defeated… While I’ve been working on so much…Discovering my newfound confidence and voice is so empowering!

Man I felt the same way when I hit my 10 months mark. I just fell into this hole that lasted all the way up to my year. And then even after, all my motivation was gone and I couldn’t get out of my slump. Even the meds the doctors gave me didn’t help, and honestly when they put me on my mood stabilizer I don’t think it helped my relapse at all. Hope you feel better soon man

An amazing transformation. Even the glasses look different - because you’re wearing them with confidence and a little bit of a swagger, instead of that sheepish defeated look that we all recognise.
You were one of the first people I saw when I first started using this app. Your split screen profile picture struck me. I wanted a bit of that for myself. Well, your inspiration, and the inspiration of lots of other people on here, has meant that I have had a bit of a transformation myself. Thank you.

We need to stand firm in our resolve to just not drink or drug for 24hrs at a time, summer nights are tough but you made a good choice getting to the gym. Hard for me to get back there,havnt renewed my membership yet, keep up the good work.

We’re currently having Minecraft week. And I did Minecraft mystery boxes for the kids, Mystery Fanta Included. Anyone who tried and have an idea what it tastes like? We’re three different persons saying three different flavors.
I’m voting for tutti-frutti, 9 y/o says blueberry and the 11 y/o says apple.

120 days. Longest 4 months of my life. Started the day off with spilling coffee on myself within 5 seconds of making it. I guess that was inevitable given the white shirt.
