@beardson , I allowed myself ice cream every night for the first four months. It’s better than alcohol. Don’t be hard on yourself.
My son gave me a new love for sport fishing. I am native american therefore we are a sovereign nation. Our tribal leaders decided to shut everything down for 2 weeks due to a covid outbreak. I am just kind of fed up with everything so we packed up our travel trailer and took off. Its been fun
Shame for what??? Very nice to meet you Kelly!
Thank you. Ice cream has also been a go to.
Travelling
Trains are my main means of transportation between cities and provinces. 6 hours is no biggie if the A/C and toilets are working
About 10 years ago, I had an Achilles strain that put me on crutches, then a hard boot, then a soft boot for about 6 months. I could not run or walk far. I could do upper body training and light leg work. I remember well the pure joy of running my first mile on the treadmill with no pain!
I leaned into my AA program to get me through, to accept and be humble and patient. I wish you a speedy recovery for your foot!
Not a selfie OK, still funny to see myself on TV at last night’s concert. Not so hard to pick me out I think
Just got busted trying to take a bored sober selfie Lol. They took the photo for me instead, it turned out ok
God bless you all. &
Got to have basic essentials.
I love trains. When their working.
Have a nice trip.
Goes so fast!! I can’t wait to see and hold her.
Today I bring you a selfie reflecting the change in me. 7 years ago I was a heavy smoker, drinker, drug doing and fast food eater. I took one 1 challenge at a time. Alcohol being the last and honestly for me the most difficult. Have a wonderful sober day people!
Ps- I didn’t have more fun as a blonde
I wrote a bit earlier I felt shame about showing my face on here due to being judged out there! I’m getting over it though. Lol
Pretty cool. You look like 2 different people. I like the new Jen better.
That’s awesome
That looks amazing, where are you hiking??
A + hiker! Happy for you!
Got out of quarantine this weekend finally! Got the hair and beard cleaned up and took the family to a festival and lunch today. It was beautiful out and we enjoyed the parade, rides, games, and food!
The High Peaks region of Adirondack Park in New York. I posted more pictures in the photos of nature thread.
